Anita's family of six recently experienced financial hardship after unexpected bills and urgent home repairs caused her to fall behind on one of their mortgage payments. The repairs were necessary to maintain a safe and stable home environment for their children, and the family has been doing everything possible to stay current on their other expenses. She was able to work out a plan with her mortgage company to prevent falling further behind, but she is $200 short of the payment. Assistance would help her family maintain stable housing and continue providing a safe home for her children.
