Aja joined our rapid rehousing program in July 2025 after facing multiple barriers that made securing an apartment difficult. Through persistence and hard work, and with support from her Housing Stabilization Case Manager, she successfully signed a lease for an apartment in November. While her family now has a place to call home, the apartment remains largely unfurnished since they lost their belongings during their experience with homelessness. Aja is working to build stability for her family and would greatly appreciate your assistance with furniture and basic household items to turn an empty apartment into a welcoming home.

Several essential items in the home were not in suitable condition to withstand the extreme cold and icy temperatures. Ms. Stroman is seeking support to make small but critical repairs to her home to prevent further damage as additional challenging weather approaches.
