Aja joined our rapid rehousing program in July 2025 after facing multiple barriers that made securing an apartment difficult. Through persistence and hard work, and with support from her Housing Stabilization Case Manager, she successfully signed a lease for an apartment in November. While her family now has a place to call home, the apartment remains largely unfurnished since they lost their belongings during their experience with homelessness. Aja is working to build stability for her family and would greatly appreciate your assistance with furniture and basic household items to turn an empty apartment into a welcoming home.

Jasmine has faced many challenges on her journey to stable housing. With the support of her Housing Stabilization Case Manager, she started the new year by signing a lease for an apartment. After more than 12 years of experiencing homelessness, Charles has secured housing and is beginning a new hopeful chapter. He is legally blind and has hearing impairments and is currently adjusting to life in a rooming house, where navigating the bathroom at night can be especially challenging. To support Charles during his transition, we are seeking help with essential supplies, including incontinence items such as bed pads, a mattress cover, and extra sheets. A small chair with arms for his room would also improve his stability while he relaxes and enjoys television. Your generosity will will help make Charles’s new housing the safe, comfortable home he’s been waiting for.
