Ms. Roundtree is currently experiencing homelessness while working hard to earn money and support her family and children back home in Connecticut. Being away from her kids while trying to build enough stability to provide for them has been incredibly difficult. Right now, she urgently needs help paying for her storage unit. That unit holds belongings that are important to her and her family, and losing it would mean losing the things she has worked so hard to hold onto during an already overwhelming time. A contribution toward her storage bill would give Ms. Roundtree one less thing to worry about while she continues working toward stable housing and a better situation for her family.

Mr. Henderson is currently experiencing homelessness, and right now, he needs assistance keeping his cell phone service connected. When you're without a home, a working phone can be a lifeline. It can mean being able to answer an employer's call, reach someone who can help, find resources, stay connected to loved ones, and respond when an important opportunity comes along. For Mr. Henderson, losing his phone service would create another painful barrier at a time when he is already facing so much uncertainty.

Mr. Calhoun is a man who works his recovery plan as well as his own self-sufficiency. However, in recent months, he has needed two hip replacements. These medical challenges have led to him changing jobs. As such, he needs new work attire as well as warm winter clothes to accommodate his travels to and from work. Supporting Mr. Calhoun would give him the opportunity to reenter the community and regain his recovery momentum.

Mr. Artis is a 62-year-old male who is experiencing homelessness. He is a current resident at Caritas' The Healing Place seeking recovery. He is an exceptional employee at Walmart which allowed him to take some time off to seek recovery and better himself. Nonetheless, he has to return to work by the end of September in order to retain his job. Caritas has provided some funds, but it did not cover the entire move-in fees. Therefore, he is seeking assistance from the community in order to pay for his apartment application fee and remaining move-in fees in order to have a safe place to stay while continuing his recovery efforts and maintaining his job at Walmart.

Ms. Fisher is only 20 years old. She should be focused on building her future, finishing her education, and figuring out who she wants to become. Instead, she was kicked out of her home by her parents and is now facing the overwhelming reality of trying to navigate life without the support and stability of her family. As a transgender woman, losing her home has been especially painful. Yet despite being forced into circumstances she never asked for, Ms. Fisher is still fighting for her future. One of her biggest goals is completing her GED. She knows that earning her GED can help her access better employment opportunities and take important steps toward becoming financially independent and securing stable housing.

Ms. Moten is a young single mother doing everything she can to provide for her child while working toward a more stable life. Currently homeless, she is working towards getting a job to support them both. Like so many mothers, she puts her child’s needs first and often goes without the things she needs for herself. Ms. Moten needs new shoes and clothes, as well as financial assistance with daycare. Reliable childcare is especially important because it gives her the ability to work, pursue opportunities, and continue providing for her child.
