Mr. Blair needs storage fee

Partner: Caritas

Advisor: Chad Skipwith

Mr. Blair is a 59-year-old male who is experiencing homelessness after losing his afterschool job in the Virginia Beach area. After losing his job, he moved to Richmond because of the availability of single men shelters in the area. He needs his storage locker fee paid because he is in default and all of his possessions are located in the storage. He is currently seeking employment in the area and wants to establish an after-school program to teach students in the area about his love for the game of chess. He is a truly motivated individual and would love to share his knowledge with minors in the area alongside obtaining permanent housing when he obtains a full-time employment. A gift from the Giving Wall will assist him in obtaining one more month so that he can keep his only possessions and be able to move his things out of storage once he finds employment.

Sabrina needs assistance with children's lunch debt.

Partner: Henrico County Public Schools Office of Family & Community Engagement

Advisor: Alexis Miller

After previously qualifying for meal assistance, these two siblings found themselves without coverage this year, leading to a mounting lunch balance that their family simply cannot bridge. Beyond the daily need for a meal, this debt creates a silent barrier to their future: unpaid fees can often prevent students from receiving the transcripts they need to apply for college or careers. Your support clears this financial hurdle, ensuring that these siblings stay nourished today and that nothing stands in the way of their success on graduation day.
