Miranda received support covering utility costs affected by health struggles

Miranda, like many of us, is battling with financial instability brought upon by many uncontrollable factors. While currently three months pregnant and maintaining employment, Miranda finds herself unable to cover electricity expenses accrued during her last residence. Now experiencing homelessness, her limited income is deovted to covering current needs for herself and her baby. As she is matched with ongoing housing subsidy, coverage of her electricity costs would allow Miranda to move into stable housing and provide for her child.

Focused on rebuilding her life, Falona engages with CARITAS' Works program and Job Club to identify and apply for sustaining employment. To better that goal, Falona needs support to obtain a Forklift License.

She is not one to be deterred and is doing everything she can to help herself get back on her feet. Her phone has been disconnected, and she has not gotten her first paycheck. The judge initially granted custody to Janine's ex/abuser and claimed she did not have enough room for her kids because she was living in her mother's basement . While the custody agreement has since been resolved, Janine is still worried about having safe and affordable housing for her family. To support Charles during his transition, we are seeking help with essential supplies, including incontinence items such as bed pads, a mattress cover, and extra sheets. A small chair with arms for his room would also improve his stability while he relaxes and enjoys television.
